FELTED ART

Using high quality merino wool, silk and found materials, each piece is made entirely by hand.

The process is a combination of wet-felted wool and needle felted details. All artworks are my own original designs and are one-off pieces.

My inspiration comes from the natural world, literature and mythology.  Sometimes I work from photographs taken by my husband on days out with the family. I like to incorporate some of the magic of nature into my work if possible, giving them an ethereal, fairytale quality.
