My paintings are mostly made with quality watercolours on Daler Rowney Aquafine paper.
I also like to use a variety of media to refine and highlight different areas of my work. Sometimes I use wax crayons, coloured pencils, pastels or alcohol inks.
I have a love of texture and colour and I am particularly drawn to the unexpected effects of watercolour paints and their relationship with each other and the different materials. My themes remain within the natural world, literature and mythology.
Collage work also provides me with the opportunity to explore and experiment with colour and texture. I very much hope to keep making art and to keep developing my skills and techniques.
